Sware Appoints Erin Wright Chief Product Officer to Lead AI-Powered Validation Strategy

Sware, Inc., the company behind the AI-powered validation platform Res_Q and a provider of GxP compliance solutions, today announced the appointment of Erin Wright as Chief Product Officer. Wright will lead product strategy across Sware’s portfolio as the company expands AI-powered validation across life sciences and other regulated industries.

Wright has 20+ years in B2B Life Sciences SasS organizations, most notably spent 14 years at MasterControl, advancing from customer validation services into product leadership. In 2017, she launched the Validation Excellence Tool, which the FDA used to validate its MasterControl instance and put Computer Software Assurance (CSA) principles into practice five years before the FDA issued its draft CSA guidance. She holds multiple patents on risk-based validation processes and earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Her appointment comes as life sciences companies face a widening gap between how software is built and how it is validated. Cloud applications can push new code every 45 minutes, yet many teams still validate them using practices shaped by a 1997 regulation and 2002 guidance.
